The Library of Death is a volunteer-run creative death literacy project based in Victoria, BC (context) that seeks to foster community resilience through sharing resources, activities, skills, and stories about all aspects of mortality.

Our lending library contains books, zines, music, and movies that explore a wide variety of subjects related to death.

We also maintain a growing directory of death-oriented practices in the region, a shared online resources collection, a community events calendar, and sometimes host gatherings where people discuss death & dying over books, games, art, and crafts.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, you can email Seán.
